Is Swell Search free to use?

Yes it is - you just have to register as a VIP Swell Search member. You can then have access to all the reports & forecasts plus many more benefits on the Swell Search website.

How do I join as a VIP Swell Search member?

Click on the 'Join Up Now' button which is located on the top menu bar. After you have clicked this button simply follow the steps and provide information when it is required. Its that simple.

Are my personal details secure and safe?

Yes they are very secure and extremely safe. For more information please read out Privacy Policy.

What if I forget my username?

Click the 'forgotten password?' button which is located in the top left hand corner of the webpage. After you have clicked the 'forgotten password?' button simply follow the steps.

Is it easy to change my account details?

Yes. Log into your Swell Search account and click the 'Account' button which is located on the top menu bar. After you have clicked the 'Account' button simply change your details and click save.

When does Swell Search update the surfing conditions?

Swell Search updates the surfing conditions on Saturday & Sunday morning & mid-morning. Update times vary depending on the season.

When does Swell Search update the forecast?

Swell Search updates the forecasts daily at 4pm.

Why has the report not been updated on time?

During light to heavy rainfall periods the reports may be delayed. The reason for this is the added workload required to protect the data equipment.

Why has the report been cancelled?

During severe weather conditions reports may be cancelled. The reason for this is the added workload required to protect the data equipment.

How do I unsubscribe to the Swell Search monthly newsletter?

Log into your account. Click on the 'Account' button which is located on the top menu bar. Scroll down the page until you see the heading subscriptions. Click on the box next to the text 'Would like to receive the Swell Search monthly newsletter'. The box must not be ticked if you do not wish to receive monthly newsletters.

How do I unsubscribe to the Swell Search regional reports?

Log into your account. Click on the 'Account' button which is located on the top menu bar. Scroll down the page until you see the heading subscriptions. Click on the box next to the text 'Would like to receive daily regional reports via email'. The box must not be ticked if you do not wish to receive the regional reports.

Am I locked into a contract?

No, we do not operate a contract system.

Can I print out more than one copy of my VIP Card?

Yes, just log into your account and click 'VIP Card' which is located on the top menu bar and print out as many VIP cards as you require.

Is it easy to use my VIP Card?

Yes it is very easy! Just follow the instructions on the VIP Card webpage.

Why are three of the breaks always highlighted on red on the Coast Area Map?

This is to provide members with the top three current breaks on the Coast Area Map. This will be updated when a new report is uploaded onto the website.
